About the company
Linus Bio MENA is the Saudi joint venture bringing Linus Bio's precision exposome platform to the Kingdom and the wider Gulf. Incorporated in Riyadh and led by KaRama Venture Studio, the company is building the region's first exposomics reference laboratory and working with leading Saudi clinical institutions to validate the technology in a Saudi population.
The solution
ClearStrand™ ASD reads a single strand of hair to detect the biochemical signatures associated with autism spectrum disorder — non-invasively, and from as early as one month of age. The platform analyses how the body has processed environmental exposures over time, producing a biological signal long before behavioural symptoms become apparent.
It holds FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, has been validated across six countries, and demonstrates a 97% negative predictive value with 96% sensitivity. More than 20,000 tests have been sold in the United States. For families, it compresses a diagnostic journey that commonly takes years into a test that returns results in days — and early diagnosis is the single greatest determinant of long-term outcomes.
