Founded within KaRama Venture Studio, the company has been recognised repeatedly by independent judging panels — winning the Health Datathon and reaching the finalist stage at WHX Dubai and the Next Gen Pitch competition at GHE.
The solution
KaRama Bio applies precision diagnostic methods to paediatric conditions where early detection changes the clinical outcome but current pathways are slow, invasive or unavailable in the region. The company's approach analyses biological signals to identify disease earlier and with greater accuracy than conventional screening.
The premise is that childhood conditions detected early are frequently manageable, while the same conditions detected late are often not. Building this capability inside the Kingdom — rather than sending samples abroad — also keeps clinical data, and the research value it carries, in Saudi Arabia.
