Saudi clinical data sits in silos across cluster hospitals, and the models trained on Western cohorts underperform on it. Nobody was building a platform against the local data because nobody had access to it.
Our approach
KaRama Bio was formed inside the studio rather than acquired. The team works from Saudi cohort data under a data residency framework agreed before the first line of code was written.
Where it stands
Second place in the Ministry of Health datathon at the Global Health Exhibition 2025. The model behind the entry now sits inside the product.
Stage descriptions reflect the studio's internal classification and are updated quarterly. Regulatory status is determined solely by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.
