About the company
Plato Tech Arabia is building an ambient AI medical scribe designed for the Gulf — built for Gulf Arabic and for clinical documentation standards in the region, rather than adapted from a system designed elsewhere.
The solution
The platform listens to a clinical consultation and produces the documentation automatically — structured clinical notes, coding and referral letters generated from the conversation itself, with no typing during or after the visit.
Clinical documentation is one of the largest uncontrolled costs in healthcare, consuming hours of physician time daily and driving burnout. Ambient documentation returns that time to patient care. The reason a regional platform matters is linguistic: consultations in the Gulf move between Gulf Arabic dialects, Modern Standard Arabic and English, frequently within a single sentence. Systems trained on English-language consultations do not handle that reliably. Building for the region's actual clinical language is the difference between a tool clinicians use and one they abandon.
